In today's edition of "sights and sounds from the SLLS halt", I was visited by Jake the snake.
I'm thinking he is a rat snake?? Anyone know?
I asked him to hold up a second so I could get a picture of him. And he stopped on cue! It was like he heard me. Pretty cool.
I took a couple pics and thanked him for his time. And I asked if he could help out with the bugs and such around the yard.
He flickered his tongue a few time and off he went.
My snake recognition skills are not as good as my vehicle recognition skills. But he looks like his comrades that I have seen before.
He wasn't afraid of me and I wasn't afraid of him. We talked and I got some pictures and he went on his merry way.
I love having calm interactions with creatures of the Forrest.
